At St. James, we are transformed by the love of God to be a welcoming and accepting family.
We believe… In God the Creator, Jesus Christ and in the presence of the Holy Spirit.
In the grace of God, the power of prayer, forgiveness and everlasting life.
That God is present in our lives,
that all are welcome at God’s table
and that all are called to share God’s love and Word
through fellowship and service to each other and to the community.
" I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling
to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness,
with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort
to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- Ephesians 4:1-3
We are an Intergenerational Church
Our long-term goal is to bring together people of all ages, young and old, within the community so that they can share with one another their gifts and ministries. The young bring a new vision to the world and see the world with childlike innocence. The young bring new energy and hope while the older generation brings wisdom and experience, that only comes from having lived life with all its challenges and opportunities.
This is how it is meant to be, each of us learning and sharing with and from each other.
